My journey in entrepreneurship started in the 4th grade while attending a Christian charter school that was inside of a church. Most of my classmates didn’t celebrate Halloween, and while my mom didn’t like the idea either, some of my relatives thought it was harmless fun. They would take me and my siblings out to go trick-or-treating while my mom was at work.

One day after Halloween, I decided to bring my pillowcase full of candy to school. That was the day I got my first taste of entrepreneurship.

I started selling candy to my classmates for 25 cents a piece. Word spread quickly, and suddenly, everyone wanted in. Then I came up with what I thought was my next big idea. I created a game where classmates could pay 50 cents to guess which candy they would pull from the pillowcase. If they guessed right, they kept their candy and their money. If they guessed wrong, I kept both.

Everything was going great until my business got shut down for gambling on church grounds.

I like to joke and say I’ve been an entrepreneur for the majority of my life, and in a sense, that’s true. That experience taught me early about supply and demand, partnership, and even risk management. Since then, I’ve faced plenty of challenges, made mistakes, learned valuable (and humbling) lessons, and kept going through it all.

Today, in addition to my work as a Corporate Paralegal, I run a tech startup and hold a Master’s in Legal Studies from Cornell Law School. More importantly, I am walking in my purpose by helping founders build and sustain businesses with clarity, confidence, and integrity. I understand how challenging this journey can be, especially when you are trying to navigate it alone. That is what inspired me to create The Chief Suite, a space I wish existed when I was starting out, built to give founders real guidance, structure, and community.

I am honored that you are here. This community was created for entrepreneurs like you, who are determined to grow, learn, and lead with purpose. My hope is that The Chief Suite becomes a place where your faith and your vision align, and where you are reminded that you are capable of everything God has placed in your heart to build.
